Shopping:
There is only a small store in Blanchetown with limited supplies, so we suggest you bring your food with you, or shop at Gawler or the Barossa Valley on the way up from Adelaide, or Murray Bridge or Waikerie if travelling from interstate . You can re-stock during your housboat holiday at Morgan (about 7 hours away by houseboat).
Please note the Riverland is a Fruit Fly Free Zone, and as such, no home grown produce is allowed.
However, fruit and vegetables purchased from a supermarket or green grocer, are allowed, provided you have a valid receipt to verify purchase.
